GIVE US THE BACKGROUND - WHEN AND WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO OPEN A RECORD SHOP?

Relevant Record Café was opened in November 2014 by husband and wife partnership Andy and Angie Powell. With a desire to set up their own business together and a combined passion of music and great coffee the couple set out to create a space in Cambridge’s bustling Mill Road that would enable other lovers to share and enjoy these treasures (and a few other tasty extras!) in an environment that is cool, vibrant yet relaxing too. With a coffee shop upstairs and a vinyl emporium in the basement; Relevant is the only place to be when in need of a bit of R’n R’ (that’s Records and Recuperation!)Open 10am-5pm, seven days a week.
